I got down to Jim's and noticed he had those magnetic signs made up to advertise his business, on the side of his truck.
This is the bike I was telling you about. Jim was starting to dismantle it to clean it and has taking off the fairing, so you'll have to go see it when he puts it back together. The bike is a 1996 Harley Ultra Classic, Shriner's Addition, Limited Edition. This bike only has a little over 9,000 miles on it and it belonged to one of Wichita Falls City Council Members, who was also a Motor Officer in the Shrine. He died a year or so ago and this bike has been garage kept in the family garage since then.
It has the custom Harley tank cover.
It has am/fm, CD (I believe) and CB. Jim is only asking $9,850 for it. The engine purrs while it still has the classic, outstanding Harley Rumble. It is an 88 cu. in (1450 cc), 5 speed and is EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) not carbeurated like my 2001 Heritage. What that means is you don't have to jack around with a choke like I do.. Just turn the ignition on, let it wind up and fire it up..And this bike is easy starting too. Does not appear to be as cold natured as my bike
Jim was also in the process of cleaning up a project bike from one of the local bike shops. Jim not only does individual personal bikes but he is also used by many local bike shops & dealers. A true testimony to how well Jim' takes care of the bikes he is entrusted with.
The project bike Jim was cleaning up & detailing was a 1976 Honda 360cc. I am pretty sure this bike was referred to as a CB360, but I could be wrong.
Here is Jim taking a short break as we talked outside. Tomorrow, 2-27-10, the Blue Knights TX XX LEMC is making a run to Lindsey Texas and Jim & his girlfriend Tammy are coming with us. It ought to be a great ride as the weather is calling for sunny skies and a temp of 58-62..
Jim has also started advertising these carports. It looks like a great deal to me and this thing is anchored in the concrete and isn't going anywhere. If you don't have a garage, then this is great overhead protection for your bikes or car.
The info on the car ports
Under the carport, are Tammy's Harley Screamin' Eagle Dyna & Jim's Harley Road Glide. My Heritage is in the background. It was a good riding day yesterday

Jim's Bike. He keeps it immaculate
One of Jim's projects he is working on is his 1973 Corvette Stingray..The outside appears to be finished and now he is doing the interior. This picture does not do the 'Vette justice. It is a great looking car.
A view of Jim's Bike Detail Shop from the west end of the parking lot
Some of the things Jim can do for you are State Inspections (car & motorcycle), bike detailing, wash & vacuum , lubrication & oil Changes.
Jim has also added to the business, one of those flashing neon open signs. It's on the East end of the building facing Barnett road. This will conclude this post.
Jim's Bike Detail Shop is located at 5400 Southwest Parkway Wichita Falls Texas. (on the NW corner of Southwest Parkway & Barnett RD right across from Memorial Stadium). If you would like to make an appointment for youR bike or have any questions about other services Jim offers or want to get a jump on anyone else on the 96' Harley Shriner's Bike, call Jim at: shop: 940-691-1121 or on his cell at: 940-232-4181.
