My crutches leaning up against the cabinet in the garage.
I turn around and look down the length of my Harley, noticing the fine layer of dust starting to gather on the fender & saddlebags..
I turned back around and saw the edger, weed eater and bush trimmer on the driveway and I hear a lawnmower
Then Janice walks into view. Now before I get jumped on & cussed at because Janice is doing the yard work let me explain something. My therapy for calming me down or clearing the head is a good ride out in the country on the Harley. (Or as it is now, anywhere). Janice's therapy is yard work. She absolutely won't let me do anything except occasionally I might get to edge or use the blower to clear off the sidewalk & driveway. That's even when I am running at 100%. Only catch is, I can't take my therapy ride if she is in her therapy mode. She, on the other hand, can go into her therapy mode if I am out doing my therapy thing..
Oh, did I forget to mention the rake? Yep, Janice also does the raking and landscaping as well. And, I might add, she is good at it. Both out in the yard and inside with the interior decorating stuff
The edger. Since we got a weed eater, Janice prefers to use that instead of the electric edger. The weed eater is gas powered..
Janice doing her thing, getting some much needed therapy...
The Harley out in the garage. Sure looks empty out there since Matt bought Ms. Clone. But he is loving the ride and has been bit with the "fever". He's put close to 1000 miles on her since last Monday...
Janice with said weed eater... She whacked her foot with one last year and it cut her pretty good.. But she survived to do yard work another day and get in some therapy sessions.
The rear of the Harley, Janice's Ford Focus (great little car) and Old Glory on the wall. I wanted to remove the tree out front and put up a flag pole, but Janice nixed the idea. Said I could put one up out in the backyard. So, this is where I put the flag..
The weather as clear, no clouds whatsoever, light winds out of the South and about 60-65 degrees at the time I took the picture looking down the street..
My Harley, that I call my S.O. or Sierra Oscar for Significant Other. Janice is my wife but the Harley is my SO.
Mike, the original owner of SO, brought the original pipes over in case I wanted to get her back stock. I am currently looking for the air breather that has the 88 cu. in. writing on it. It's a 2001 Heritage if anybody knows where I can latch onto one, let me know where & how much...I'd appreciate it..
This will conclude today's post. I enjoyed sitting out in the garage watching Janice do her therapy and listening to the birds chirp & the dogs barking. It gave me time to relax my PS2 trigger finger..
