BROKEN CHAINS FREEDOM CHURCH 4-3-10

Next Friday, April 9, 2010, will be the 1st anniversary of the 1st biker church opening it's doors in Wichita Falls Texas. Broken Chains Freedom Church is primarily a Church for bikers but all are welcome and those that attend come from all walks of life, all ages and all races. Scroll down and check out this fantastic Church, the Church I proudly attend and meet some of the folks there. REMEMBER: IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE PICTURE BIGGER, JUST CLICK ON THE PICTURE.

BROKEN CHAINS FREEDOM CHURCH is located at 5200 Old Jacksboro Hwy in Wichita Falls Texas, just past TX 79. As you cross TX 79 on Old Jacksboro Highway and head South, this is the view.

About 600 yards or so South of TX 79, you will see BROKEN CHAINS FREEDOM CHURCH on the right. If you come up from the South, Northbound on Old Jacksboro Hwy from Rathgerber Rd, it will be on your left before reaching TX 79.

Here is the BROKEN CHAINS FREEDOM CHURCH sign out front of the building.

This is the BROKEN CHAINS FREEDOM CHURCH.Since opening last year, they have had to knock down some walls to allow for the fast growing congregation. They will have seating for 200 folks in the next week or so.

The side of the building. There is ample parking for cages, trucks and, of course, all the motorcycles.

A couple of the bikes rode in by those who got there early. The BROKEN CHAINS FREEDOM CHURCH has services on Friday Nights at 7:00 p.m. We always get there early to get a good seat.

Here is my wife, Janice, with Larry & his son, Caleb. Larry rides with us on most of our rides and attends assorted biker functions with us. Larry & I go way back and were co-workers at one time..

some of the other early arrival bikes

Looking at the BROKEN CHAINS FREEDOM CHURCH sign & bikes from the front of the Church. Old Jacksboro Hwy is the road.

This is Leland. He gets there early too. They have a snack table & drinks (water & coke) set up and everyone snacks & visits before service begins

Folks visiting before the service begins at 7:00 p.m.

Leland & Debbie at our table or I guess I was at their table...

This is Larry, Sissy taking a pic of me taking a pic of her and her husband Steve.

This is the snack table. Yes, there are even birthday cakes brought in. Also, fruit, cookies, brownies, crackers... Folks alternate bringing in the goodies

Left to right: Larry, Sissy, Pastor Roy & Steve.

Robert had a birthday cake brought in by his wife, Janis. Get the idea they ride Harley's ?

Janis is all smiles tonight. I got a pic of Robert but he was eating cake & he highly suggested that I not post that particular picture. Discretion, being the better part of Valor, I complied.

The Praise & Worship Band warming up. The Band plays some great high energy Praise songs as well as an occasional traditional song. These guys are great

This is Moe just inside the church entrance showing me the back of her shirt

As I reach around Pastor Roy so as to get our picture, my hand got tangled up in his remote mic cords and I about ripped the headset from his right ear.. Sorry Pastor...My bad..

Readjusted, here is Pastor Roy & me. The big guy that just walked in is Perry

This is Steve, Moe & Sissy before service started

This is Pastor Roy's wife, Linda, as she holds one of the little members. The Church has a Kids class & a Class for teens. So if you are interested in visiting and have kids, older or younger, bring them. There is a place for them at BROKEN CHAINS FREEDOM CHURCH.

Pastor Roy is wearing a Boswell's Harley Davidson shirt, which is pretty neat

The band continues to warm up as 7:00 p.m. grows near

This is Amy & Myra. Amy is a member of C.M.A. and Myra rides with us quite a bit.

This is Dustin & Amy. Dustin told me that when they ride, Amy takes pics of everybody and everything, while rolling and stopped. She loves her photography

This is Russell & Myra prior to service starting

Praise & Worship Band warming up and going over some of the songs

The big screen right behind the Band

My right foot rests on the knee walker during the service as I have to keep the foot elevated

Some of the following pics of the band members may be a little dark & distorted. I was towards the back of the Auditorium and had to use the telephoto lens and no flash... This is our drummer

This is the lead guitar player

This is the lead singer on amplified acoustic guitar

This is "the Kid", the Praise & Worship Band bass player

And this is the bands rhythm guitar player

The C.M.A. patch on the back of Amy's vest. There are quite a few C.M.A. members that attend BROKEN CHAINS FREEDOM CHURCH. As a matter of fact, I joined C.M.A. and just finished my Ministry Team Training. I should have my colors in the next few weeks or so.

Mike & Paula are here as Praise & Worship begins

As a rule, I usually do not take pics while the Pastor is preaching but I took two tonight. The folks listen intently as Pastor Roy gives the sermon. Pastor Roy preaches straight from the Word of God. If it is not in the Holy Bible, you won't hear it preached at BROKEN CHAINS FREEDOM CHURCH.

Russell, Myra, Steve & Charlie and others listen to Pastor Roy

We know that when we die or when the Rapture of the Church happens, we take no earthly belongings with us. But, say God said ok, you can bring your bikes. This might be what it looks like to those left as our bikes go up to join us...

This is LeeAnn & Johnny in the parking lot after service. God moved and delivered Johnny from cancer as he was prayed for at the Church. God still works miracles, people. We may not know how it is that He chooses to move on some and not others, but it happens.

Dennis & Moe's Harley with the accent lights Dennis installed.

Johnny talking to Russell after service. Johnny's Harley is behind him. He & LeeAnn were going over to Denn & Moe's and Dennis was installing some LED lights on Johnny's bike

The parking lot had beau coup motorcycles. If you'd like to attend BROKEN CHAINS FREEDOM CHURCH and you ride a motorcycle, ride it to the church. All Bikers are welcome. Come expecting to see God move during the service, because He does. He will meet your needs and break your chains of bondage.. If you need to be delivered from drugs, alcohol, porn, or whatever your addiction is, come to BROKEN CHAINS FREEDOM CHURCH and be prayed for.

Some more of the bikes in the parking lot after a service

More of the congregations bikes

It does not matter what make of bike you ride. All are welcome at BROKEN CHAINS FREEDOM CHURCH

Folks exiting the Church to head out for various locations. A lot of us go to dinner afterward as a group

Here is Moe, in her signature Harley hat, as she walks to her vehicle...

Pastor Roy comes out in the parking lot after servce and visits with us as we get ready to head out

Another one of the motorcycles with the accent lighting. This will conclude this post.
