PGR MISSION WICHITA FALLS TEXAS 7-29-09

Today, Wednesday, 7-29-09, the PGR had a mission in Wichita Falls Texas where former Marine & Vietnam Vet, Malcolm Bronaugh Jr., was laid to rest. We parked our bikes in the far corner of the rear parking lot. This is Joe's bike with the big flags. He & Angela (with the trike with big flags) would ride in the funeral procession to Rosemont Cemetery

That is Ron's Harley and behind his is our Assistant Ride Captain, Tex's bike with the PGR banner on the windshield. My bike is the blue one

We waited under cover in the shade for others to arrive. This is, from left to right: Ron, Tex and Joe

This is Angela on her trike. Angela is Nubbin's wife. Nubbin has an O.D. colored trike that you can see a few posts down on the PGR Mission Jacksboro Texas post. Angela said Nubbin was working today & couldn't make it.. They are some really great people.

This is Mike, our North Texas PGR Ride Captain & Tex, our North Texas Assistant PGR Ride Captain.

Kevin arrives. Kevin's wife, Deborah, usually rides with him but she is recovering from surgery..Get well soon Deborah, we miss you...

Mike was driving the PGR Support Vehicle today and here we are getting the mission briefing from Mike. I want to thank Mike right now for all the cold water & Gatorade he had for us today. It wasn't too bad right then but it heated up rapidly when we got to the cemetery and we went thru a bunch of water.

Angela & Ted with their flags just prior to us setting the flag line. Ted is having shoulder surgery tomorrow morning, so he will be out of pocket for a while recovering. We wish you well tomorrow Ted..

This is Ron with Tex looking on. Ron is also a member of B.A.C.A. and he was telling us he just got his patch and they elected him Secretary/Treasurer of the local chapter. Congrats on the position Ron!

Members of the USMC Honor Guard are from left to right: SGT Cardenas, PFC Stewart, SSGT Banks, GUNNERY SERGEANT Galore, and Mr. Blaylock, retired USMC of the Marine Corps League. Thank you all for your service to our country and for keeping our freedom alive. Your actions today were OUTSTANDING.

We go to the support truck to get our flags to start the flag line. Front of the truck to the rear are: Ted, Ron, Doug, Tex and Mike.

The line forms. Usually I am in the back line and get to take more pics. Today I was off to the right, in view of family & friends , so I left the camera in my vest pocket.

This will conclude this post. I enjoyed being with my PGR brothers & sisters today and was proud to be part of this PGR mission. Our condolences to the Bronaugh family and may God comfort you as you mourn your loss.
