1st Annual Petrolia Texas Festival & Motorcycle Fun Run 10-24-09

Saturday, 10-24-09, was the 1st Annual Petrolia Texas Festival & Motorcycle Run. They had an excellent turn out. The proceeds from the Festival & Fun Run would benefit the Petrolia Volunteer Fire Department, Petrolia Senior Citizens Center & the Petrolia Curb Appeal. We met at 1100 hrs at the Shell Station at Windthorst & US 287. From Left to right: unk, Ted, Joe & Sherri.

This is Buddy. He is a member of the Blue Knights TX XX and also Chief of the Petrolia Volunteer Fire Department. He was very happy with the turn out and would be riding at the end of the Fun Run formation

This is Inez & Tex. Today was gonna be Inez's picture day....For Vickie , of course...Vickie is Ted & Inez's daughter that lives in Ft. Collins Colorado with her husband Tim. We get to Byers Texas and park here. We have to go across the street down by that trailer to get our next tickets and something to drink & munch on...

We depart Byers and head to Stop 4, Four Stars Auto Ranch in Henrietta. I would leave the ride in Henrietta when they turned South on TX 148. I would continue West on US 82 to US 287 where I would swing North and head to the house. I had to help Janice move furniture from the garage into the bedroom because while I was out riding, she was at home painting the bedroom.. I had to get home and not press my luck...

I got home in time and had to park the bikes & Janice's car in the drive so we could get to the furniture..

Before bringing the car & motorcycles back in, Janice wanted to sweep out the garage..

Ms. Clone (Vulcan) & the Harley that I have named Sierra Oscar..Military phonetics for Significant Other...

Janice finishes up the garage and I bring the bikes in and park them.

S.O. & Ms. Clone put up for the night. This will conclude this post. I enjoyed seeing everyone today and riding with them in the 1st Annual Petrolia Texas Motorcycle Fun Run... I look forward to the next ride...
